What is new in Sesam 2010
The new features in GeniE v5.1-11 are particularly related to code checking of plates (DNV RP C201.2 or PULS), re-use of data as defined in DNV rule check of tankers to create a three cargo hold model, improved finite element meshing capabilities, and better support for modelling of very large models using 64bit technology.
SMOE chooses Sesam
In March, DNV Software delivered an on-site course named “Concept based FE modelling and analysis of jacket and topside design” to SMOE in Singapore, 15 days before closing the deal for the Sesam software purchase, reconfirming DNV’s leading position in the offshore engineering software technology market. DNV introduced its first Sesam software more than 40 years ago and has been the industry’s technology pioneer since then.
