Earlier this year, DNV Software opened a brand new customer portal for Safeti users, where customers could download software, user manuals and access an extensive documentation library. Now the service is being extended to include customers with maintenance contracts for the product lines: Sesam, Nauticus and Safeti.
“We’ve received positive feedback from the Safeti customers using the customer portal this year,” says Head of Section, Global QA & Support, Ingrid Cornic. “The search engine for finding documentation is very powerful. Our FAQ knowledge base has proved useful. They can also log cases for the support team. Those who contact us via the customer portal get first priority,” she says.
As well as browsing and searching the site to find the content you need at your fingertips, download popularity and voting on contents usefulness will help you get to the documents you need quickly and effectively. Customers can also subscribe to topics of choice, which will ensure they are informed by email of any news and updates.
Users can get to the site from the link on DNV Software's pages on www.dnv.com/software.
The portal is accessed through a secure login – all maintenance customers by use of their e-mail addresses can get a password.
A demonstration video has been created to help you access and find your way around the features of the new portal.
“All in all, there is more interaction now with our customers. We’re becoming more proactive. This is our customers tool to reach support, they can help themselves for better help and support. It makes things easier, especially for customers who have more than one product,” says Cornic.
Emails will be issued to all maintained customers in the coming days providing you with secure links to set up your user accounts.
