Independent safety assessment (ISA)

When assessing, an examination is performed to estimate the suitability of a product or a project. The primary focus for DNV is directed towards short and long-term safety conditions.

IRIS – Certification

IRIS is a global, mutual system to evaluate management systems within the railway sector. The object is to complement the internationally renowned ISO 9001 with requirements specific to the production of railbound vehicles.

Notified body certification

The harmonisation of the European rail network has impacted rail traffic and railway operations in Europe. Better transport networks and cross-border co-operation is the end goal, but a long road of challenges has to be conquered.
